Rehabilitating the sense of touch

The sense of touch is essential to survival...we wouldn’t even be able to stand without it. Fortunately, complete deprivation of the sense of touch is rare, so rare that there is no medical name for it.

But our sense of touch does decelerate with advancing age. Designers of products for elderly people rely on the research data that Haptec provides to make these designs and optimized surfaces possible. Haptec is also working on developing training programs to rehabilitate the sense of touch.
